ABOUT THE EVENT

One of my cherished teachers is Edith Eger. Like Viktor Frankl, Dr. Eger lived through unspeakably degrading conditions during the Holocaust and came to the conclusion that the will to meaning is redemptive. After a childhood of bearing witness to evil and relentless death, she built an exemplary life as a psychologist whose therapy, books, and teaching have inspired millions. I feel a special affinity with Dr. Eger because she emphasizes practical ways to break free from the inner prisons of our own making.
